ITS India at Intertraffic Amsterdam: A Landmark Global Showcase

For the first time, under the leadership of Akhilesh Srivastava, President of ITS India Forum,
and in collaboration with TrafficInfraTech Magazine, India proudly displayed its rising global
leadership in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) domain at Intertraffic Amsterdam
2024, held from April 16-19. This prestigious event, the world’s most coveted mobility showcase,
saw a large contingent of Indian professionals and leading companies make a significant impact,
positioning India as a force to be reckoned with in the field of ITS. ...
India’s participation not only highlighted the superior quality, technology, and cost
competitiveness of Indian ITS solutions but also placed the nation on the global map for
innovative transportation systems. The Indian Pavilion, led by Envoys Electronics Pvt Ltd
(whose booth turned into a hub for Indian innovation), saw participation from prominent Indian
companies including:

demonstrating the growing influence of Indian talent and technology in the ITS space.
One of the standout moments at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024 was the signing of Memorandums
of Understanding (MOUs) between ITS India Forum and key global bodies such as the ITS
World Congress, the ITS European Union, and other prominent ITS Global Forums. These
strategic alliances will facilitate knowledge sharing and drive the growth of the ITS industry in
India, further cementing the nation’s role in global transportation innovation.
India, with the second-largest road network in the world (spanning over 6.5 million kilometers)
and the third-largest vehicle manufacturer, adding over 5 million vehicles annually, stands at
