In his upcoming book "India@2047: An Exciting Journey of 100 Years," Akhilesh Srivastava paints a vivid picture of India's transformation from a developing country to a global superpower. At a keynote session at Claremont Graduate University, California, Mr. Srivastava shared insights from his book, detailing India's rise to becoming a USD 32 trillion economy by 2047. The book focuses on the technological, economic, and social changes that will define India's future, with a particular emphasis on the role of transportation, smart cities, and digital infrastructure in this transformation.

In a move that will significantly boost India's standing in the global ITS landscape, ITS India has entered into a strategic partnership with ITS Asia-Pacific. Led by KK Kapila and Akhilesh Srivastava, this collaboration aims to promote innovation and knowledge exchange across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on shared transportation challenges and opportunities.

On January 24, 2024, the groundbreaking conference on "Vision Zero Fatalities in Road Accidents Using Next-Generation Technologies" took place, chaired by Honourable Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari. One of the key speakers, Akhilesh Srivastava, presented a forward-thinking strategy to tackle road accidents using AI, IoT, and edge computing technologies.

The CII National Conclave on Road Safety, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), brought together government officials, industry experts, and safety advocates to discuss the future of road safety in India. With Shri Nitin Gadkari and Akhilesh Srivastava among the keynote speakers, the event delved into the role of intelligent transport systems (ITS) and data-driven solutions in reducing road fatalities and improving road safety.
