On July 29, 2024, NITI Aayog and the ITS India Forum held a conference on Comprehensive National ITS Policy, at Niti Aayog headquarter, focusing on funding and measurable outcomes. Chaired by Mr. Sinha, the event saw participation from senior officials across various ministries and over 30 top executives and chairpersons from the ITS India Forum.

TS India Forum held an international conference at New Delhi in Collaboration with The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). Shri Akhilesh Srivastava, President of the ITS India Forum, highlighted the Forum’s success in reshaping mobility with projects like the CV2X Green Corridor and Safe Driving Score system.

For the first time, under the leadership of Akhilesh Srivastava, President of ITS India Forum, and in collaboration with TrafficInfraTech Magazine, India proudly displayed its rising global leadership in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) domain at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024, held from April 16-19.

In his upcoming book "India@2047: An Exciting Journey of 100 Years," Akhilesh Srivastava paints a vivid picture of India's transformation from a developing country to a global superpower. At a keynote session at Claremont Graduate University, California, Mr. Srivastava shared insights from his book, detailing India's rise to becoming a USD 32 trillion economy by 2047. The book focuses on the technological, economic, and social changes that will define India's future, with a particular emphasis on the role of transportation, smart cities, and digital infrastructure in this transformation.

In a move that will significantly boost India's standing in the global ITS landscape, ITS India has entered into a strategic partnership with ITS Asia-Pacific. Led by KK Kapila and Akhilesh Srivastava, this collaboration aims to promote innovation and knowledge exchange across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on shared transportation challenges and opportunities.
