Meeting with the Japanese Quality Assurance team, represented by Mr. Michio TOSEN, JQA, Tokyo, Japan; Mr. Toshihiko Kamite, JQA, Tokyo, Japan and Mr. Rajarajan S, SigmaEQI, Chennai, India. The objective of interacting with ISA was to assess, how the Japanese quality assurance system can be adopted for steel, especially for export to Japan from India. The objective of JQA was also to determine the viability of setting up Japanese quality certification, i.e., JIQ in India for steel exports to Japan.
